I for one and having issues with not having my template load bootstrap concerning a responsive contact forms use of images for captcha. David So what is a true responsive design? How are Artisteer templates not true in that regard? Are we going to start making stuff up and start saying it, so if enough people repeat it, it will become the truth? Do you work for the US government? Also it's mobile first which is the way forward IMO.Hi All Anyone heard if Artisteer folk are planning to use Bootstrap for Joomla templates? This needs to be included ASAP for true responsive design.
BOOTSTRAP ARTISTEER CODE
I also use Sass as it keeps code cleaner and easier to maintain, and it is much better for responsive design as you can nest the media queries within the selector, rather than have a media query with all your selectors and rules within it. Bootstrap 4 has flexbox support, so once you get familiar with it you can put together designs pretty quickly. So what do you use when you want to create a website for someone with a certain look, layout and personality? How do you go from nothing, to pizzazz without buying someone's hundred dollar theme that looks the same as every other hundred dollar them?īootstrap 4 is what I use these days, using the Paragraphs module to create re-usable layouts. Not when such a fabulous tool existed that would to it all easily for the past 10 years.

I can't imagine that people are working at the file editing level or buying or downloading pre-made themes that someone else created. If I must start from scratch, I would like to know, at least, what other people use to create their themes. Starting from scratch would be fine, but I have over 30 websites that will need to be updated and each has its own customized look.
BOOTSTRAP ARTISTEER UPGRADE
They don't support Drupal 8 themes so I can't upgrade what I have already. Or at least if it isn't, they seem to have no interest in doing anything with it. Now, it appears that Artisteer is defunct. It worked great when migrating from 6 to 7 too because the same theme could be re-exported as a Drupal 7 theme and away you go. It was a fabulous tool that allowed me to start from nothing and generate random themes, then start modifying visually when I saw one that looked like it had potential. I created quite a few websites and I used a product called Artisteer to create the themes. I have been developing in Drupal 7 for quite a while and before that, Drupal 6.
